Organizational &
Capacity Assessment

Getting to know a school through observation, conversation, and close study, KSC identifies the tensions, capacities, and opportunities that inhibit, promote, and define growth.

The operational health and well-being of a school – its capacity as a holistic learning community to manifest its potential, aspirations, and desired reality – are the keys to timely and sustained institutional growth. Through extensive classroom observations, staff and faculty interviews, and close internal study of a school’s operational infrastructure, systems, behaviors, and culture, KSC helps schools identify and define core strengths and challenges and delineate pathways to advance their mission.

The assessment process is driven by the study of six institutional capacities underlying a school’s ability to develop and act upon a vision: Leadership. Administrative. Financial. Programming. Community. Giving.
