Hillside Montessori School of LaGrange (GA) Breaks Ground on New Campus

In February of 2018, after completing a presentation on Capital Project development at the AMS Annual Conference, an administrator from Hillside Montessori came up to ask if KSC would support the school in its desire to build a campus of its own. As renters, the school’s growth was limited in terms of control, space, programming, and its future. Five and one half years later, Hillside overcame rising construction costs, skyrocketing interest rates, and the pandemic. Holding tight to its vision all along the way, Hillside broke ground this month on its inspiring 16,500sf phase 1 classroom and administrative building amidst a beautiful 13 acre outdoor learning and play environment. From that moment of good fortune in 2018, KSC has provided feasibility, site search, capital campaign, pre-development, financing, and, presently, construction administrative support to help guide the school’s vision to success. Hillside will take occupancy of its new home in December 2024.
