Center School Celebrates its New Home

The Center School, located in Greenfield, MA, took occupancy of its extraordinary 30 acre campus in time for the start of the 2021 school year. Containing 25,000sf of classroom, makers, gathering, community, and administrative spaces, the new facility is a student-centric hive of learning and exploration. In addition, the surrounding fields, streams, and woodlands serve as extended year-round learning environments calling to the school’s entire student body, toddlers through middle schoolers. The project was four years in the making. From the start, KSC supported the school’s deeply engaged Board of Directors, Building Committee, and Head of School in finding the needle in a haystack site of its dreams and coordinating the funding, design, permitting and construction of its beautiful, inspiring, and welcoming campus.
